Job Description
Job Title: Data modeler (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field.
- Experience in data modeling database design and development.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g. Oracle SQL Server MySQL).
- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g. ERwin IBM InfoSphere Data Architect or similar).
- Understanding of data governance data quality and data management principles.
- Dimensional modeling techniques (e.g. Star Schema Snowflake Schema).
- NoSQL databases and big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop MongoDB) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Certifications in Data Modeling or Database Design (e.g. CDMP Data Modeling certifications) are preferred.
- Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools is desirable.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
