Job Description
Salary: $ 85000.00
We have partnered with a Design Service company in Pittsburgh PA area to provide them with an Electrical Designer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized must haves for the Electrical Designer:
#1. Must have at least 3 years of Industrial Electrical design experience.
#2. Must have 3 years of experience with motor schematics.
#3. Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years
Requirements of the Electrical Designer:
- 3 years Electrical Design experience
- High school diploma required
- College level diploma in engineering technology or similar
- Intermediate working knowledge of CAD systems and software
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD; experience with Revit an asset
- Competent with Microsoft Excel Outlook and Word
- Ability and desire to learn new software applications knowledge and skills
- Ability to think logically and creatively
- Organized and selfdirected task and goaloriented
- Effective efficient and professional in the execution of all required tasks
- Experience in MV/HV power system design (substation pole line relaying P&C) an asset
- Experience in VFD motor control (LV/MV) specifications/applications an asset
Other Key Requirements:
- Hybrid/Remote role
