$35000 $50000 a year
Gardens of Babylon Nashvilles largest family owned garden center and landscape design build firm specializing in natural products and services is looking for the following dynamic team member:
Landscape Designer
Perform a wide variety of landscape designs related to residential and commercial properties. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience with minimal supervision and with a focus on sustainable techniques and plants.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Site Measurements designing & estimating
- Working with 3D illustrator to oversee the completion of the 3D flythrough
- Complete production notes for accurate installation
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Excel and be willing to learn a new estimating software package
- Work with clients to determine the final selection of hardscape materials for the project
- Followup with the client to keep them informed of the progress
- Identify clients objections and ensure we answer all concerns
- Compile all items needed for a sales presentation
- When needed provide detailed estimate using our software
- Provide detailed job description and scope of work
- Finalize Production Notes on the job
- Visit site when needed to ensure proper installation of the landscape
- Work with Operations Manager to ensure project success
- Answer clients questions during the landscape installation process
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Have a B.S. Degree in architectural design or similar field
- Must have at least 35 years of experience in landscape design
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the use of AutoCad
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and be fit and healthy to perform required duties
