Senior Data Engineer

• Guide the team in enhancing the scalability stability and efficiency of our Data platform.
  
• Design create and implement new libraries and frameworks for our core systems while adhering to the highest standards of code quality.
  
• Work alongside other engineers and Product Owners to identify and develop incremental products during Scrum sprints.
  
• Have a solid understanding of technologies such as Python Scala Spark and SQL and navigate them effectively.
  
• Regularly collaborate with the Data Architect team to design and review data models and application architectures.
  
• Uphold clean architecture maintain clean code practices and ensure highquality software.
  
• Engage in code reviews pair programming mob programming and mentor other team members.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related technical field.
  
• Proficiency in English is necessary.
  
• Over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer.
  
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Highly skilled in at least one programming language (Python/Scala/Java).
  
• Strong background in systems architecture especially in complex scalable and faulttolerant distributed systems.
  
• Proficient in multithreading atomic operations and computation frameworks like Spark (DataFrame SQL) as well as distributed storage and computing.
  
• Knowledge of resilient designs focusing on fault tolerance high availability and scalability.
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools and GitLab.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  
• Openmindedness and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  
• Familiarity with Databricks is an advantage.
  
• Experience in performance tuning or optimizing Big Data programs is desirable.
