Skills
- 8 years of electrical engineering design experience in the building services and construction industry
- Experience in sectors such as Higher Education Museums Commercial Transportation Hubs and/or Stadiums
- Proficiency in Revit
- Familiarity with computational analysis tools like electrical fault analysis and lighting design software
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems
- Strong clientfacing and communication skills both verbal and written
- Problemsolving abilities with the capacity to provide multiple solutions to clients
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients architects and other engineers
- Produce detailed design drawings electronic models specifications and reports
- Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians
- Prepare Technical Specifications and monitor the financial performance of jobs
- Mentor junior Electrical Engineers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and building codes
- Proactively communicate and raise concerns regarding deadlines and workload
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor or masters degree
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification desirable
- LEED AP accreditation preferred
