Call Schedule: Night & Weekend Call; Rotating

Call Ratio: 1:6 or 1:7

Patient Volume: Up to 25 per day

IP: 12 per day

Per Provider: 68 per day

Phone Consults: Yes

Admissions: Yes

Rounding included: Yes

Physician in Practice: 5

Support Staff: 3 APPs

Trauma Level: I

Duties/Responsibilities:

Patient history Physical Examinations

Ordering of Diagnostic Test

Patient Education

Bedside procedures and providing outpatient care

Other Info:

Will respond to codes

Will not be required as backup in the ER

Will not required to remain on site while on call

Less than 1% of visits (outpatient) become admissions

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active NC License

BLS
