Job Description
As a Python Backend Developer you will:
- Develop and maintain complex backend applications using Python RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Leverage your expertise in Azure Functions MSSQL FastAPI Docker and Azure Service Bus to build scalable efficient solutions.
- Integrate thirdparty APIs and services into our ecosystem.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure highquality reliable code.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in Agile environments to deliver features and solutions efficiently.
- Use Azure pipelines or similar CI/CD tools for continuous integration and delivery.
- Apply your understanding of software design patterns testing strategies and architecture principles to ensure system integrity and scalability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of applications for maximum efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior developers fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 68 years of experience in backend development with at least 5 years of handson Python experience.
- Strong experience developing applications using RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Handson experience with Azure functions MSSQL FastAPI Docker and Azure Service Bus.
- Proven experience integrating thirdparty APIs and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines especially Azure pipelines.
- A solid understanding of software design patterns and testing methodologies.
- Previous experience with performance tuning and system optimization.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in web development technologies and Agile methodologies.
- Fluent in English (required).
- Based in or willing to work in a hybrid role within The Netherlands.

- Adapt quickly to changing requirements and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively within teams and crossfunctional teams.
- Guide and mentor junior developers to build their skills.
