Job Description

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Logan West Virginia in search of a highly talented Radiology Tech.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Tech will provide patient services using imaging modalities following prescribed techniques to administer general and specific Xrays adjust equipment determine proper voltage current and desired exposure time arrange immobilization and support devices for patients and more. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in patients lives while working in a collaborative professional environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for Xrays by explaining procedures and preparing room equipment and materials
  • Determine techniques for ionizing radiation during radiological exams
  • Develop Xray film in accordance with photographic techniques
  • Clean and disinfect Xray room and equipment; maintain stock supplies
  • Provide education for staff/peers based on identified needs

Qualifications:

I. Education:

  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Bachelors degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred
  • Ongoing professional development in radiology

II. Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience with various imaging modalities preferred
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting a plus

III. License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
  • State certification to practice/administer radiation required
  • BLS/CPR certification required

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety protocols
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using radiologic equipment and PACS systems
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
