Job Description
Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Jersey City NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Tax Terms: W2 C2C 1099
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Servant leadership coupled with domain knowledge
- Drive Scrum ceremonies with the delivery team.
- Support product owners by ensuring backlog refinement and readiness.
- Ensures in depth tracking of Risks Timelines and Dependencies
- Execute the Program Increment (PI) objectives to support the strategy vision and road map Ensure value is achieved by the team on behalf of end users.
- Create metrics driven insights into the delivery and execution of the team using relevant team level metrics.
- Drive Agile team objectives.
- Provide visibility into gaps issues risks and opportunities across Agile teams.
- Measure user story execution.
- Handles external relations e.g. product or vendor partners
- Identify and remove team impediments escalate where assistance is needed in removing impediments
- Partner with Product Manager to improve efficiency of overall team. Look at current obstacles and plan what can be done to prevent obstacles in the future.
- Responsible for detailed Scrum level metrics reporting from JIRA and other plugin.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in computer science computer engineering or other technical field or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 yrs Experience facilitating Agile Scrum or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time on budget and to spec. E Certifications
