Job Description

Position Name: Travel LPN/LVN Long Term Care (Quick Auto Offers)

Location: Petoskey MI 49770

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks Accepting Travel Candidates only

Pay Rate: $1400 to $1600 Weekly

Unit: LTC

Shift: 8 Hours; Afternoons 2.00p 10.30p Nights 10.30p 7.00a

Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed 5 shifts per week MonFri with Every other weekend holiday rotation required if scheduled

Position Requirements:

  • At least two years of recent/current SNF/LTC and Med Surg LPN experience: 2 years Required
  • SNF/LTC experience must be current Med Surg experience can be within the last 3 years
  • LPNs must be able to handle highpaced and stressed environment Required
  • Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  • Covid Vaccination Proof Required

Education License and Certification Requirements:

  • LPN License for State of Michigan Required
  • BLS Certification from AHA Required

Job Description:

  • Prescribes and adheres to facilities protocols and kindness in all personal and professional interactions while on duty in and around the facility.
  • LPN demonstrates great customer service by embodying facilities three core principles of Exceptional Care Passionate Services and Unexpected Luxury in all of their job duties and responsibilities.
  • Under the supervision of RN LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty.
  • Nursing care is provided through assessment implementations and evaluation of the plan of care.
  • LPN adheres to the standards of care for the area manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety and supervises the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers.
  • Follows all facilities policies and procedures.
  • Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Follows where applicable JCAHO standards.
