Title: Data Engineer/Architect

Location: Hybrid in (Boston MA)

Duration: 24 months Contract

Job Description:

• 10 yrs as a data engineer/architect
• Experience with designing financial systems ( FS experience; target local boston firms like wellington fed reserve putnam fidelity morgan stanley jpmc bny mfs etc)
• Cloud (AWS) experience
• Snowflake experience
• Strong ETL tool knowledge
• SQL database experience
• Local to bostonhybrid role

What you will be responsible for

• Capture and document business requirements from clients product management teams implementation and operations teams and thirdparty vendors to support strategic projects
• Diagram system and process flows to record critical components and represent them in a schematic diagram
• Define and deliver strategic interfaces supporting Alpha Data Platform software and services
• Evaluate thirdparty systems and solutions to extend Alpha Platform capabilities
• Extend relationships across the Alpha State Street CRD Performance systems and thirdparty teams to support the Alpha Platform Management team
• Contribute to new strategic initiatives across the Alpha Platform Management team
• Work on test strategy and execute test cases when required
• Assist in client on boarding BUAT and CUAT process
• Enhance the workflow data controls and monitoring capabilities front to back
• Experience working with CI/CD cloud experience and interface development
• Strong experience of SQL programming Snowflake cloud concepts relational DB design and systems and process integration

Education Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years experience in a combination of solution/development/architecture roles
• Established SME in two or more of the following areas: Strong in development Implementation of application and Data integration.
• Experience working with teams across business services information systems and enterprise applications
• formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and capacity. Prepares detail specifications for developers. Provides technical expertise in evaluating new software modifications that will enhance operating and development activities.

• 9 AM to 6 PM EST. Hybrid with preferably 3 to 4 day per week in the office

• Alpha platform KT is going to be provided. Going through documentation and SQL

What is the day to day of the person going to look like Please be specific.

• Working with various groups dev team client implementation team product team solution any product gaps strategic initiatives and end to end support.
