OpenShift Virtualization 90 Euroshour

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Container Platform Expert to join our client.
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform 4
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for
Kubrnetes and Migration Toolkit for Applications (MTA). This role involves working on a
Proof of Concept (PoC) to review and adapt existing automation processes for a VMware migration use case.

Tasks

• Review the HighLevel Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) of the existing automation processes specifically focusing on the pop v2 framework.
• Adapt the automation processes to fit the VMware takeout use case with a particular emphasis on storage components.
• Deploy a test platform to facilitate the migration process.
• Assist the customer in migrating a few test applications from VMware to OpenShift ensuring a smooth transition.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the migration stratey.
• Provide expert guidance and support throughout the migration process addressing any challenges that arise.
• Document processes findings and best practices for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience with OpenShift Container Platform 4 at an expert and advanced
  level.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Migration Toolkit for Applications (MTA) and its application in migration scenarios.
• Experience in reviewing and adapting automation processes for cloud migrations particularly from VMw are to OpenShift.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in OpenShift Red Hat or related technologies are a plus.
