Security Engineer
Client: Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)
POP: 12 months
Location: Remote
US Citizen
SCOPE
We are seeking a Security Engineer to safeguard the defense financial system against potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a background in cybersecurity and secure systems engineering.
REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience in cybersecurity particularly in defense or government projects.

Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST 800171).

Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM) are highly desirable.
TASKS

Implement security measures to protect the financial system from cyber threats.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Collaborate with the development and cloud teams to ensure secure architecture.
