SCOPE

We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Senior System Administrator to join our team in supporting the IT operations at Joint Base LewisMcChord (JBLM) Directorate of Public Works (DPW). The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience leading a large complex help desk and system administration function.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must have Secret clearance or be able to obtain one

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing both servers and workstations in a large complex IT environment.

• Expertise in DoD Cyber Workforce requirements.

• Ability to maintain DoD certifications as per DoDM 8570.01 and DoDM 8140.03.

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

• DoD Cyber Workforce (DCWF) baseline and Computing Environment

• Certifications IAW DoDM 8570.01 and DoDM 8140.03

TASKS

• Provide support for servers and workstations including configuration troubleshooting and maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with DoD Cybersecurity requirements.

• Lead and manage help desk operations ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.

• Administer user accounts security updates and perform hardware/software upgrades.

• Work closely with NEC and DPW to support IT infrastructure.
