We are seeking a diligent and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at The Ned Doha. The Security Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the security team, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team.
Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the hotel premises.
Monitor surveillance systems and review footage as necessary.
Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
Train and mentor security staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on security activities and incidents.
Conduct investigations and follow up on security breaches and incidents.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Team Management:
Supervise and lead a team of security personnel, ensuring effective coverage and operations.
Train new security staff on protocols, procedures, and emergency response.
Security Operations:
Oversee daily security operations, including monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the premises, and managing access control.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Incident Response:
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, conducting investigations and documenting findings.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Implement security measures based on assessment findings.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security activities for reporting to management.
Prepare and submit reports on security operations and incidents as required.
Customer Service:
Interact with employees and guests to provide assistance and information, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
Promote a positive image of the security team while enforcing rules and regulations.
Policy Development:
Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.
Ensure all security staff are aware of and adhere to these policies.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in security management is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a security role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
Proficient in using security technology and surveillance systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid security license and certifications as required by law.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
