SAP S4 Transportation Management

Houston TX Hybrid 3 days onsite TTh

Visa : GC & USC only

6 month with probable extension

Direct client is looking for an SAP S4 Transportation Management consultant for a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate must report onsite 34 days per week.

Required

• Minimum of 56 years of handson experience with SAP TM.

• At least 12 full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA TM (Embedded) implementation projects.

• Experience with configuration in the area of Logistics Execution Shipment document types Transportation planning and shipments individual/collective transportation planning point transportation chain Shipment cost documents Shipment cost item categories

• Experience with writing functional specifications and worked with ABAP and PI teams to implement the solution

• Very good understanding of Logistics Integration with FI and MM

• Experience with third party logistics interfaces (TMS Bourque EDI 410 EDI 404) and working knowledge with 3rd party vendors

• Experiences on multiple full lifecycle SAP program initiatives

• Good understanding of Inter/Intra company process related to transportation

• Experience with working on SAP output forms on both delivery and Shipment documents (Ex: BOL ProformaCCI etc)

• Experience with the implementation of transportation modules for Barge and Vessel movements

• Experience with Basic TM and integration with Third Party Applications (Kewill Bourque etc)

• Experience with BRF or other rulebuilding tools within SAP TM is a plus.

• Experience with Logistics pricing is a major plus

• Experience with writing functional specifications and worked with ABAP and PI teams to implement the solution

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define configure design and implement SAP TM solutions according to the organizations unique business requirements.

• Provide subject matter expertise on SAP TM modules such as Order Management Planning Freight Execution Charge Calculation and Settlement.

• Design and execute seamless integrations between SAP TM SAP EWM and any relevant thirdparty Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP TM configuration and integration issues.

• Conduct data analysis and process optimization maximizing the efficiency and costeffectiveness of logistics operations.

• Support the migration of transportation management processes to the new SAP S/4 HANA environment.

• To be able to work on support tickets related to transportation

• To be able to work independently and selfsufficient

• Experience with Data conversion and cutover activities

• Providing the Analysis and Design Process and its associated documentation Technical functional specification Test Plans.
