CDL Class B Driver
Pay:$16 $18/HR DOE
Hours:7:00 AM 4:30 PM Monday Friday
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Tulsa OK
Job Summary:
A metal fabrication company is seeking a reliable CDL Class B Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of metal fabrication materials and products to clients and job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles safely adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and products to clients and job sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
- Accurately complete and submit delivery logs timesheets and required paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service maintaining a professional demeanor and addressing client concerns during deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving commercial vehicles and/or making deliveries.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills focusing on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen background check and MVR.
Additional Duties:
- Assist shop workers and maintain cleanliness of the shop as needed.
