What you will be doing: Cardiac MRI Tech II

  • Work independently exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations.
  • Engage in research projects and provide direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to CMRI exam standards and guidelines established by regulatory agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.

Experience you will need: Cardiac MRI Tech II

  • Three years of MRI experience with one year specifically in cardiovascular imaging.
  • Required licenses and certifications:
    • RDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) OR
    • RDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) OR
    • CCI Cardiovascular Credentialing International Certified (CCI) OR
    • CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) If certification held thru NMTCB or ARRT registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRTGC) OR
    • ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists If certification held thru NMTCB or ARRT registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRTGC) AND ARRTMR Radiologic Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT) OR
    • ARMRIT Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist OR
    • CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist State Licensure
    • BLS Basic Life Support (AHA)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently handle challenging diagnostic procedures and exhibit sound judgment while executing clinical skills.
  • Advanced computer knowledge to operate multiple systems including Hospital Information Systems and reporting/processing systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while delivering excellent customer service.
