Job Description
Job Title: Enumerators
Project title: Access use and welfare effect of crowdsourced agricultural information: Evidence from Kenya
Background
Our client seeks to recruit enumerators to assist in conducting data collection for an endline of a study titled Access use and welfare effect of crowdsourced agricultural information: Evidence from Kenya . The activity requires familiarity with the study area and a good command of the local language.
We are keen to recruit enumerators from the following locations.
Samburu
Elbrata Nachola Ndoto Lodokejek Wamba west Waso and Wamba
Isiolo
Oldonyiro Isiolo central Merti
Marsabit
Laisamis Mt Kulal Korr Moyale
Main Duties (Terms of Reference)
1. Collecting household level information using CAPI
2. Ensuring the assets (Tablets and chargers) are in good condition.
3. Tracking and interviewing respondents
4. Assisting with community entry
5. Connecting the team to the local leadership
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
1. Holds a bachelors degree.
2. Computer literate
3. Ability to work continuously outside home for up to 1 month.
4. Availability for the entire month of November 2024
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Flexibility and team player mindset
7. Experience using Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI)
8. Data collection experience especially with long surveys
9. Previous experience with IBLI surveys/projects (added advantage)
