This is a full time role and they offer a salary of 34000
Shift Pattern for the Domiciliary Care Deputy Manager:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am 5:00 pm.
Additional telephone support may be required outside standard hours if business needs require this which is an enhanced pay for outofhours support at your hourly rate.

As the Deputy Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of our Home Care Service. You will work closely with the Registered Manager & Senior Management Team to provide quality social care promote service users independence and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Main Job responsibilities of the Domiciliary Care Deputy Manager is:
Ensure the operational management and compliance of all care delivery practices and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
Maintain strong knowledge of CQC regulations Local Authority Quality Band Assessments and GDPR.
Ensure all staff adhere to the highest standards of health safety and personcentered care
Promote staff engagement and teamwork.
Oversee recruitment processes to ensure robust staffing.
Assist in Implementing strategies to promote staff retention and professional development.
Conduct regular performance appraisals supervisions and ensure mandatory training is completed.
Promote dignity and respect across the service ensuring positive communication with customers and colleagues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with social workers community teams and other professional organisations.
Support the implementation of performance management and quality assurance systems to ensure efficient service delivery
Previous experience and knowledge of home care including leadership responsibilities.
NVQ Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care level 5 qualification being desirable.
Full driving license and access to a car.
Strong IT communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage a busy workload and take decisive action when needed.
