Job Description
Title: Expert Software Developer
Duration: 30 Months
Location: Schenectady NY
Note: This is an Onsite Role.
Job Description:
- This position maintains several OPWDD Java web applications including Division of Quality Improvement (DQIA) and SEMP applications.
- In addition all new work involves design development testing and implementation of an application throughout the System Development Life Cycle.
- The position also supports enterprise projects as needed and provides training and mentoring to lesser experienced developers.
Qualifications:
- Software Developer Is involved with all facets of the software development process including the research design programming testing and implementation of computer software.
- Expert 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
- 84 months experience programming serverside Java web applications in a multitier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
- 60 months experience writing queries stored procedures functions packages and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.
- 48 months development experience in database design and object creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables in Oracle 10g or higher.
- 48 months programming experience with Java Server Faces.
- 36 months programming experience with Java Persistence API.
- 36 months experience with JavaScript/JQuery.
DaytoDay tasks:
- Design and create scripts for databases
- Design develop maintain and enhance Java applications
- Test applications
- Create and maintain documentation
- Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents.
