We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our client s team. As a Maintenance Mechanic you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to maintain production and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Complete preventive maintenance on various machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing and using precision measuring instruments.
- Remove and replace defective parts adjusting functional components as needed.
- Inform production workers about routine maintenance techniques and ensure compliance.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of equipment parts and supplies.
- Provide mechanical maintenance information and prepare reports.
- Stay updated with technical knowledge and communicate effectively within the team.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements:
- Safely adjust molding machine operational parameters.
- Repair EOATs.
- Locate the root cause of problems.
- Clearly convey information through written typed or drawing formats.
- Read and follow mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Install electrical conduit copper piping PVC piping and wiring.
- Read voltage/ohm meters.
- Perform preventive maintenance and enter data into the computer system.
- Look up parts in catalogs and machine manuals.
- Communicate with machine service personnel over the phone.
- Measure using a micrometer.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
- Must have Injection Mold Experience
- Must have Electrician automation and PLC Experience
- Equipment maintenance expertise
- Technical understanding and enthusiasm
- Ability to handle uncertainty and prioritize safety
- Attention to detail and proficiency with power tools
- Flexibility and ability to work under supervision
- Solid job knowledge and productivity
