Senior Oracle APEXVBCS Developer

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Oracle APEX/VBCS Developer with over 3 years of handson experience in design development and implementation using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle cloud technologies and a proven track record of creating efficient and userfriendly applications that enhance business processes.

1. Application Design and Development:
   

   • Design and develop application interfaces business logic and data integrations within VBCS.
     
   • Ensure applications are userfriendly efficient and tailored to meet business requirements.
     

2. Responsive Design Implementation:
   

   • Implement responsive design principles to optimize applications for a variety of devices and screen sizes.
     
   • Ensure consistent user experiences across all platforms.
     

3. Technical Troubleshooting:
   

   • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs to maintain optimal application performance.
     
   • Work on userreported issues and provide timely solutions.
     

4. Performance Monitoring and Enhancement:
   

   • Monitor system performance and gather user feedback to identify areas for necessary adjustments or enhancements.
     
   • Maintain the relevance and efficiency of the system through continuous improvement.
     

5. Integration with Oracle Fusion:
   

   • Extend standard Oracle pages and design/build bolton applications using VBCS.
     
   • Integrate VBCS web pages with Oracle Fusion applications to provide a seamless user experience.
     

6. Data Optimization:
   

   • Optimize VBCS extensions to handle large datasets for Create Read Update Delete (CRUD) operations efficiently.
     

7. Use of OCI PaaS Components:
   

   • Leverage VBCS in conjunction with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Platform as a Service (PaaS) components such as Oracle Integration Cloud Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) Streaming and OCI Functions to design scalable applications.
     

8. REST/SOAP Services Interaction:
   

   • Interact with Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP services to create and update entries in Oracle Fusion through VBCS user interfaces.
     

9. Migration and Deployment:
   

   • Migrate and deploy VBCS extensions across different instances ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
     

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle VBCS design and development.
  
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Strong understanding of Oracle cloud technologies particularly VBCS.
    
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
    
  • Proficient in JavaScript HTML CSS and RESTful APIs.
    
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git).
  
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other Oracle Cloud Services.
  
• Previous experience in developing applications and extending SaaS applications for enterprise environments.
