Job Description
Role: Certified First Assistant (Allied)
Location: Lawrenceville Georgia 30046
Shift Type: 10 hrs Day Shift
Job Description:
- Surgical Assistance: Provide first assistant support during various cardiac surgeries including CABG AVR MVR and minimally invasive procedures.
- Patient Care: Ensure optimal patient safety and comfort before during and after surgical procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team to facilitate effective and efficient surgical operations.
- Technical Skills: Utilize advanced surgical techniques and tools to assist in complex procedures and manage complications as they arise.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate surgical records and assist in postoperative care and followup as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current credentials as Certified Surgical First Assistant (NBSTSA) Certified Surgical Assistant (NCCSA) or Surgical AssistantCertified (ABSA).
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings.
