Job Role: Remote Cobol developer
Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills
- Mainframe Development Fundamentals
- z/OS Operating system
- TSO/ISPF
- JCL
- COBOL Programming: Understanding COBOL syntax data structures and file handling.
- Assembler Language
- Debugging and Testing
- Experience with the z/OS integrated debugger
- Fault Analysis: Knowledge of common tools
- Source Control and Versioning
- Skills in following source control best practices on the mainframe such as branching strategies tagging and managing code dependencies.
- Soft Skills
- ProblemSolving
- Collaboration: Ability to work with crossfunctional teams including developers testers and system administrators.
- Documentation and Communication
