Job Description
Title: ETL Tester
Job Term: Contract (6 months)
Project Location: Onsite Maricopa AZ
Interview Mode: Phone and/or Virtual (Video) interview
Job Description
1 Develop detailed test plans strategies and cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of ETL processes
2 Collaborate with developers data architects and business analysts to understand requirements and define test objectives
3 Conduct endtoend testing of ETL processes ensuring the accurate extraction transformation and loading of data
4 Validate data accuracy by comparing the source data to the target warehouse performing data integrity checks
5 Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations aggregations and mappings
6 Identify discrepancies and raise issues for resolution documenting all anomalies.
7 Log track and manage ETLrelated defects using appropriate defect tracking tools
8 Conduct performance and load testing of ETL processes to ensure scalability and robustness under heavy data volumes.
Competencies: Informatica CDI (Cloud Data Integration) PL/SQL
Experience (Years): 10 & Above
Essential Skills:
1) 10 years of professional experience is required.
2) Proficient experience as ETL Tester
3) Excellent understanding and hands on experience on a) Oracleb) PL/SQLc) Informatica
4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clear concise technical writing style
5) Handson experience with writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation
6) Experience in testing data migration and integration projects
7) Proficient in identifying and reporting ETL defects including root cause analysis.
8) Knowledge of database concepts like normalization indexing and performance tuning.
9) Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
10) Think strategically and big and should always be a vocal leader11) Experience with report validations
Desirable Skills:
1) Experience with Cloud based ETL tools (Azure AWS GCP)
2) Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns like data lakes data mesh or data fabric
3) Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration best practices
4) Knowledge of visualization tools (PowerBI Tableau) for reporting quality metrics
5) Exposure to Data Governance
6) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
7) Experience with a. IICSb. Datawarehouse Architecture
