Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Specialty: Radiology
Place of Work (City/State): Iowa City Iowa
Start Date: 1 Jan 2025
Shift Schedule: 40hr a week (Only Evenings and Nights)
License/Certifications:
Valid and current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Two years experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure accurate and highquality imaging.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure proper diagnostic results.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation of procedures.
Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and standards in the performance of duties.
Keep abreast of advancements in CT technology and participate in ongoing education and training.
