The Products & Engineering organization consists of engineering quality technical documentation warranty and product line management functions and has the purpose of providing competitive highquality products for Evacs customers. We are looking for a Vice President Products & Engineering who will play a pivotal role in securing that our products are best in class in terms of performance sustainability and profitability. In this role you will report to Bjrn Ullbro and will have opportunity to make a significant contribution to shape the future of Evac Business and drive forward our future with no waste vision for our customers. This position is located in Espoo Finland.
Responsibilities:
- Improved product performance product quality and value to customers
- Lead and inspire the Products & Engineering organization to identify product development needs for future to enable Evac Business line to be the leading solution provider in the industry
- Identify key product functionality and quality improvements that drive customer satisfaction
- Liaise with sourcing to ensure cost competitiveness
- Commercialize products to maximize total lifecycle revenue and profitability
- Lead the team towards winning culture through constantly challenging the performance developing the ways of working and developing leadership within own team also ensure that we continually invest in talent knowhow and professional competence development.
- Ensure high employee satisfaction
In your role you will:
- Lead the development of our product vision and strategy and drive the product line roadmap
- Assess market trends competition and secure that our strategy and business plans enable us to achieve our challenging targets in the business line
- Secure technical ownership of the product lines including standard product technical ownership.
- Secure accuracy and smooth delivery of project design
- Work closely with sales & customers onboard service etc. as well as supply chain sourcing and various other related departments.
- Overall responsibility of the product line profitability
- Secure product quality and continuous product improvement.
- Evangelize and excite our customers and internal stakeholders
- Lead motivate and mentor people to ensure effective performance across the organization as well as the development of skills and knowledge to be a frontrunner in our industry.
- Build a high performing team that is highly engaged in driving business forward.

- Strong crossfunctional work ethic and ambition to drive for results
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management and/or engineering
- M.Sc. degree in engineering relevant field to Evacs business
- A demonstrated ability to drive business growth by delivering products and technical services
- Experience in product activities for an organization for multiple products through commercial launch.
- Excellent leader with solid track record of building highly engaged teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
