About Janie Health:
Janie Health is a healthcare services company that offers remote staffing and software solutions to medical practices pharmacies hospitals and healthcare contact centers across the United States. We serve a wide range of healthcare specialties including dental pharmacy and veterinary.
We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our remote team. This position is responsible for verifying dental insurance information for our patients to ensure accurate billing and eligibility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient dental insurance coverage and eligibility by contacting insurance companies and utilizing various verification platforms.
- Accurately document insurance verification results in our systems and ensure all records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate with dental providers and administrative staff to resolve any discrepancies or issues regarding patient insurance.
- Assist in preparing and submitting claims to insurance companies as needed.
- Provide timely updates to the dental team regarding patient insurance status and any necessary followup actions.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of dental insurance policies procedures and regulations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or dental assisting is a plus.
- Previous experience in dental insurance verification medical billing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written with a customer serviceoriented approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures is a plus.

Salary: $5 $6 per hour
