Job Description

Summary

The Inventory Specialist will be an important part of the inventory program. They will oversee the processes and procedures for the designated program and should be familiar with working with a largevolume smallpart inventory. Must be able to organize large amounts of data and pull key information out of the data. A continuous improvement mindset will be important in finding the right candidate for this position.

You will keep track of all the Inventory the Contractors use to run the WIFI Cable to bury the fiber. (Material such as splitters construction material vaults(protecting electrical wiring) markers etc...) on a Contractor site. We label the inventory and place the inventory in the right place. This is NOT in a clients Warehouse but on a Contactor site. Its Buildings on a lot some do have small warehouses with a couple of dock doors.

1st Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

  2. Maintain accurate inventory.
  3. Perform cycle counts and audits.
  4. Assists in physical inventories.
  5. Receive in material from vendors and transfers.
  6. Issue materials out to subcontractors.
  7. Adhere to safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to prioritize workflow.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time.
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Inventory or WMS system
