We are seeking a midlevel associate in New York.

• Advise on M&A debt financing transactions and portfolio investments.
• Design and implement taxefficient structures for joint ventures and corporate transactions.
• Provide state tax planning advice.

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABAaccredited law school (LLM in Taxation preferred).
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• Minimum 4 years of transactional tax experience in a major law firm practice focusing on corporate and partnership taxation.
• Experience in energy real estate and international taxation preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
