Location: Houston TX (ONSITE)
Max Rate: $55/hr to $65/hr on W2 or $80K to $90K Benefits
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical design configuration development and deployment of ServiceNow solutions. As a technical expert you will work closely with business stakeholders and functional consultants to deliver highquality ServiceNow implementations across various modules such as ITSM HRSD ITOM and others.
Key Responsibilities:- Design configure and develop ServiceNow solutions including customizations integrations and automation to meet business requirements.
- Perform technical implementation tasks such as scripting (JavaScript) UI form creation business rules ACLs workflows and integrations with external systems (REST SOAP).
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand the business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead the implementation of core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM ITOM HR Service Delivery (HRSD) ITBM and others.
- Develop custom ServiceNow applications and integrations using ServiceNow Studio and Flow Designer.
- Conduct code reviews and quality assurance to ensure that development adheres to best practices and platform standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the full software development lifecycle including design development testing and postgolive support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the platform ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture integration and data flow diagrams.
- Stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow features and platform capabilities and proactively recommend improvements.
- Train and mentor junior developers on the ServiceNow platform and best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform in a technical role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript AngularJS and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML CSS XML JSON) and working with REST/SOAP web services.
- Expertise in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Proficient in configuring ServiceNow modules such as ITSM ITOM HRSD ITBM etc.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
