Job Description
PLC & Robot Programmer
Warrensburg MO
Must have manufacturing industry experience
Full Time Permanent Position Full Benefits
7am4pm Weekdays (On call schedule for weekends if required)
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in engineering
- 1 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in root cause problemsolving visualization and quality tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Skilled in programming software including ProWORX NXT Modsoft PanelBuilder Magelis V/V VisionWare MotionWare TestPoint Fix 32 Intellution RSView RSLogix 5 RSLogix 500 and Bitrode LCN.
- Knowledgeable in collegelevel geometry algebra and trigonometry.
- Strong skills in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Modicon) robot programming and troubleshooting (Adept & Fanuc) and electrical code compliance.
- Essential Functions :Design develop evaluate analyze select and order appropriate and costeffective equipment for manufacturing company products and systems
- Oversee the installation modification upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment processes and systems
- Stay current on equipment manufacturers technical notices upgrades and safety issues
- Study equipment performance and reliability
- Provide technical support to operations and other disciplines within the engineering organization
- Identify and develop processes needed to produce specific products and components
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and perform job functions
- Work on problems of diverse scope analyzing data to evaluate identifiable factors
- Implement PLC and Robot logic changes Provide technical support to maintenance and operations
- Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting specifically with Allen Bradley and Modicon systems
- Skilled in robot programming and troubleshooting for Adept and Fanuc robots
- Knowledgeable in electrical code compliance
- Coordinate electrical control equipment builds installation and training
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of company employees and vendors to ensure the successful achievement of established objectives
- Operate under general supervision
