ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Santa Clarita CA Direct FullTime Onsite Construction
Santa Claritabased construction client is seeking a directhire Assistant Controller to provide operational and managerial support for the company's accounting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing an accounting team financial reporting financial analysis and budget preparation. This is a fully onsite opportunity with a salary budget between $105000 $115000/year depending upon relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Support the management of the accounting team
- Accurately prepare financial statements and reports as needed
- Provide support in the preparation of financial analyses budgets and forecasts
- Help safeguard company assets by developing and implementing internal controls
- Provide support for all audit processes
- Accurately monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations
- Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required
- 4 years of experience in overseeing and managing an accounting department
- Prior experience working in Construction required
- Experience using Viewpoint software highly preferred
- CPA highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience using Excel (mid to highlevel)
