Santa Claritabased construction client is seeking a directhire Assistant Controller to provide operational and managerial support for the company's accounting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing an accounting team financial reporting financial analysis and budget preparation. This is a fully onsite opportunity with a salary budget between $105000 $115000/year depending upon relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Support the management of the accounting team
• Accurately prepare financial statements and reports as needed
• Provide support in the preparation of financial analyses budgets and forecasts
• Help safeguard company assets by developing and implementing internal controls
• Provide support for all audit processes
• Accurately monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations
• Other duties as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required
• 4 years of experience in overseeing and managing an accounting department
• Prior experience working in Construction required
• Experience using Viewpoint software highly preferred
• CPA highly preferred
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience using Excel (mid to highlevel)
