The Individual

You should have:

• Interest in working with video content and believe in our vision of revolutionizing the way content is created
• 5 years of experience in software engineering preferably on backend services or customerfacing APIs
• 4 years of experience working with Linuxbased systems
• 4 years of experience working with TypeScript (node.js)
• 3 years of experience working with Python
• 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure/services preferably GCP
• Experience with every step of a products lifecycle; from architecture to ensuring quality during the build and delivery process and maintaining stability thereafter
  

Bonus Skills:

• Prefer 3 years of experience training in Computer Vision and evaluating novel ML models
• Prefer 3 years of experience in data collection data warehousing and Exploratory Data Analysis
• Proven experience in developing computer vision models and applications with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.

You should be:

• Adaptable selfdriven and excited to learn new technologies
• Inventive in developing effective solutions while collaborating with a remote team
• Excellent at communicating using any medium (chat email voice video)
• Able to manage your time efficiently in a selfdirected work environment
• An advocate for organization and documentation in flight

At first you would be:

• Working closely with the team to get a full understanding of our products APIs and the infrastructure that sustains them
• Getting comfortable with the code bases and environments by debugging issues working on bug fixes and building new features

As you get settled you would begin:

• Guiding the architecture of any new products or features as they are conceived in a way that lends itself both to stability and flexibility
• Managing largescale endeavors through the project lifecycle; specifying time estimates gathering requirements and setting expectations
• Maintaining projects including debugging and addressing infrastructure issues
• Working with the team to build out new products and features
• Ensuring the quality of any deliverables as they are developed
• Ideating on ways to improve/advance the product(s) or service(s) alongside team members
