1st Shift - Purchasing Agent - 20 to 34

Job Summary:
The company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of materials and services critical to the manufacturing of hermetic sealing solutions. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality cost and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing contracts and terms with vendors.
• Place orders and track deliveries to ensure ontime procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
