Job Description
Hosted/COTS Application Architect Canada/Mexico Remote
Responsible for delivering solution architecture for COTS and 3rd party custom solutions that need to be hosted. Has a deep understanding of cloud and onpremise compute and networking environments.
- Experience in onboarding deploying and integrating COTS applications such as RSMS Quintiq Remelt MES o9
- Architecture Design
- Technology Selection
- Integration Technologies
- Understanding of hybrid deployment architectures (Azure and onpremises)
- Ensuring scalability performance resiliency and security of the solutions
- Enforcing Enterprise Architecture (EA) guidelines and best practices
- Providing guidance and direction to the implementation teams
- Reviewing implementations to ensure adherence to the architecture and guidelines
- Supporting POC implementations
- Assisting with estimations and planning
- Communicating with stakeholders
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigations
