Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) support occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic services to enhance patients daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists.
  • Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills.
  • Document patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist.
  • Maintain equipment and organize treatment areas.
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies and tools.

Requirements

  • Associate s degree from an accredited OTA program.
  • National certification and state licensure as an occupational therapy assistant.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Compassion and commitment to patient care.
