Website Developer Intern or Experienced

This is a remote position.

The Nexodus Internship Program is looking for an innovative Website Designer Intern to assist in developing and maintaining websites for Nexodus and client businesses. This role offers handson experience in web design coding and user experience optimization. Ideal candidates have a strong interest in frontend development and web design principles.

LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:

Mandatory InPerson Internship Development Session (Once a month in Dallas)

Must be able to work 29 hours per week (34 days/wk.) which may include nights and weekends as needed.

JOB FUNCTION:

Website Design & Maintenance: Support the design development and maintenance of websites for Nexodus and its clients.

User Experience Optimization: Assist in enhancing the user experience and ensuring mobile responsiveness for websites.

SEO Integration: Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and traffic.

Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve website issues ensuring a seamless online experience for users.

Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure design elements align with the overall brand strategy of Nexodus and its clients.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript.

Experience with web design platforms (e.g. WordPress Shopify Squarespace).

Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends if needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be a current college Sophomore Junior or Senior majoring in Computer Science Web Development or a related field.
