Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resource Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing key HR functions including recruitment employee relations payroll administration and compliance with employment laws. The HR Officer will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture ensuring that HR processes run smoothly and supporting the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage the endtoend recruitment process including job posting screening interviewing and selecting candidates.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring they are wellintegrated into the company culture and processes.
Payroll & Compensation Management:
Administer payroll for all employees ensuring timely and accurate salary payments bonuses and statutory deductions.
Manage employee benefits programs and assist with performance review processes.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
Promote a positive work environment by implementing engagement and feedback initiatives.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records in both the HRIS and physical files ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Draft employment contracts letters for transfers promotions and other HRrelated documentation.
Compliance & Legal:
Ensure compliance with local employment and labor laws including updating policies as necessary.
Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and assist in organizing training sessions and development programs for employees.
Support career development and talent management initiatives to foster employee growth.
Performance Management:
Assist in the implementation of performance management systems and processes.
Monitor and report on key HR metrics including absenteeism turnover and performance issues.
Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources with handson experience in recruitment payroll and employee relations.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
Excellent communication problemsolving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
