Communications Assistant

We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Assistant to join our team. The Communications Assistant will play a crucial role in helping us convey our message and strengthen our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns.
• Write and edit a variety of content including press releases newsletters social media posts and website copy.
• Support the management of social media channels including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on communications activities.
• Coordinate logistics for events meetings and press conferences.
• Help maintain the companys website and ensure all content is uptodate and engaging.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the communications team.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
