Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Foreman to join their dynamic construction team in Mantjiesfontein for a 3 month contract period. As a Site Foreman you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion ensuring that the work aligns with the company s standards and protocols. You will manage a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors while coordinating with project managers to deliver highquality results within established timelines and budget constraints. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a safe and productive work environment where workers feel motivated and informed about their responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of successfully leading diverse teams on various residential and commercial projects. You will also be responsible for implementing project plans and communicating with various stakeholders including clients architects and engineers. Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on the construction site and manage the work of laborers and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes to create a safe working environment.

Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans timelines and budgets.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to specifications.

Communicate effectively with clients architects and engineers to address concerns and provide updates.

Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the project stays on track.

Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and ensure high standards of quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Foreman in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and legal regulations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Benefits

ACCOMODATION WILL BE PAID FOR BY THE CLIENT FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT.
