Translator with English
Language Combination: Italian into English
Location: Greater Milan Metropolitan Area
Employment type: Freelance

STAR7 Group is recruiting translators from Italian into English to be part of our growing Teams.
The successful candidates responsibilities will include:
- Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
- Perform linguistic tasks as per project instructions and other references
- Ensure highgrammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references
- Correct formatting/tagging punctuation country specifics terminology style fluency as per guidelines
Requirements
Main requirements:
- Degree in Translation Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
- Native speaker in English language
- Excellent command of the Italian language in both comprehension and writing
- Preferred experience in translation and proofreading specialized in Technical/Engineering field
- Availability to attend onsite assignments at the clients premises
- Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
- Adaptive to fastpaced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Problem solving and decisionmaking skills
