Estimator Commercial and Residential Doors

Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to manage construction and replacement door projects. Primary responsibilities include:

• Handling phone inquiries assisting walkins and willcall customers in the office.
• Utilizing office experience in estimating blueprint reading managing submittals and handling project closeouts.
• Preparing detailed cut sheets for contractors specifying products for each project.
• Managing project documentation including redlining changes and providing final warranties.
• Performing blueprint readings and takeoffs to calculate material quantities such as determining door requirements for projects.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in reading plans for doors millwork and associated hardware including hollow metal doors.
• Knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements is crucial.
• Experience with Excel Bluebeam and blueprint reading is necessary.
• Strong office experience particularly in estimating and managing submittals is required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project specifications accurately.

Salary/Structure:

• Base Salary: $75000 $90000
