Impact: As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining optimizing and troubleshooting Oracle OCI environments ensuring its performance availability and security. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design implement and manage cloudbased solutions ensuring they align with industry best practices and meet business requirements.

What You Will Do:

As a Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining optimizing and troubleshooting Oracle OCI environments ensuring its performance availability and security. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design implement and manage cloudbased solutions ensuring they align with industry best practices and meet business requirements.

How You Will Contribute:

• Manage and administer the Oracle OCI environment including compute storage network and security services.
• Manage and deliver full endtoend cloud migrations.
• Monitor the performance availability and capacity of Oracle OCI resources promptly addressing any issues or anomalies.
• Design implement and maintain highly available and scalable architectures within Oracle OCI.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructureascode templates to provision and manage Oracle OCI resources.
• Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to optimize cloudbased solutions ensuring high performance and costeffectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Oracle OCI services Linux operating systems and associated infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain effective security controls including access management data encryption and compliance with industry regulations.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud technologies and tools providing recommendations based on industry trends and best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including system configurations processes and procedures.

What You Bring:

• 7 years of IT experience including at least 3 years as a Cloud Engineer in with strong experience in administering and managing a complex Oracle OCI environment inclusive of migration(s) to cloud (AWS) compute storage networking and security services in a large environment.
• Experience troubleshooting connections with WebLogic hosted in an OCI environment.
• Proficiency in Linux administration / operating systems with a good understanding of Linux internals commandline tools shell scripting and system performance tuning.
• Experience with automation and infrastructureascode tools such as Terraform Ansible or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP DNS load balancing and firewalls.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices including access management encryption and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA PCI DSS).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
• Able to successfully pass a federal background check.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Certification: Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect or Linux certifications are a plus.
