Industry & Energy technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy valuechain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment process flow transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cuttingedge technology to design gas and steam turbines compressors and expanders.

As a Senior Contract Performance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • All contract performance related activities typically tied to a customer site.
  • Performing in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team managing the transfer of information and requests.
  • Assuring timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising.
  • Adhering to contract service operations and performance specifications as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.
  • Performing proposal negotiation and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision
  • Providing support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters.
  • Communicating across direct organization.
  • Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Handling latitude in project techniques. Project process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical knowhow.
  • Handling diverse clients in a region. Follows frameworks to get through the processes. There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Have minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Have experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment industry.
  • Have fluency in English.
  • Have willingness to travel as required.
