Job Title: Network Automation and Security Contractor (12 months term)

Location: Remote (EST working hours)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled contractor to join our team as a Network Automation and Network Security Specialist. As a Network Automation and Network Security Contractor you will enhance our network infrastructure and support network security initiatives particularly in factory segmentation projects. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement automated network solutions while contributing to critical network security efforts to protect our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Automation:

• Design and implement automated network solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Develop scripts and tools for streamlined network configuration monitoring and management.
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams for seamless integration of automation tools such as Terraform Nautobot Ansible.

Network Security Projects:

• Assist in the development and implementation of network security measures for factory segmentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats.
• Collaborate with network security teams to design and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure network performance and security compliance.
• Generate reports on network health automation effectiveness and security posture.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain documentation for network automation processes and network security protocols.
• Provide training and support to team members on network automation tools and security best practices.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in network automation and security.
• Propose enhancements to current processes to improve security and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Proven experience in network automation (e.g. using Python Ansible or similar tools).
• Familiarity with network security principles and practices particularly in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of network protocols firewall configurations and segmentation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CompTIA Security Certified Ethical Hacker).
• Understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
