Senior Java Developer (6-Month Rolling Contract)

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer for a fully remote, 6-month rolling contract position with a leading payments FinTech company. This role offers a competitive daily rate of €500 - €600.

About the Role:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be instrumental in developing scalable solutions to enhance the company's services and expand its presence across multiple regions. You will be working in an environment focused on Microservices and event-driven architecture, ensuring that our platform can efficiently handle increased traffic and a growing user base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Microservices that meet business requirements.
• Implement event-driven architecture principles, leveraging technologies like Kafka for seamless data processing and communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize existing services for performance and scalability, ensuring they can accommodate future growth.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for development within the team.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging activities to enhance system reliability.

Desired candidate profile

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with a strong understanding of their ecosystems.
• Expertise in Spring Boot for building microservices applications.
• In-depth knowledge of event-driven architecture, preferably with experience using Kafka as a messaging platform.
• Proven track record of building and managing multiple Microservices in a production environment.
• Familiarity with AWS services, enabling effective deployment and scaling of applications.
