Job Description
My client is looking for a Microsoft Business Central Warehouse and Distribution Business Analyst. This person will be responsible for working on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation within warehouse and distribution operations. You will need to be a magnificent communicator for this role.
In this role you will drive system improvements streamline supply chain processes and provide critical insights to optimise both warehouse operations and transportation logistics. To do this you have to work closely with other teams to gather requirements deliver solutions and ensure the efficient use of Microsoft Business Centrals capabilities across the organisation.
You would lead the implementation of Microsoft Business Centrals Warehouse Management (WMS) and integration into existing Transportation Management systems so knowing a bit about Transport Management systems would be good. Part of this role is to support the implementation of Microsoft Business Centrals financial and inventory management modules and identifying key dependencies with supply chain processes
Configuring Business Central to support business requirements related to inventory management order processing shipping and transportation scheduling is part of the role as is developing and managing reports and dashboards for KPIs such as inventory accuracy delivery timelines transportation costs and warehouse efficiency.

Continuously monitor and optimize Business Central workflows to improve warehouse and transportation efficiency.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for warehouse and transportation modules ensuring system stability and addressing issues in a timely manner.
Can you also train people to be proficient in using Business Centrals features
You would have to document system configurations business processes and workflows. This is to ensure smooth system operations and to support the testing teams to ensure test scripts provide coverage of E2E warehouse and transportation processes
YOU MUST HAVE
o 5 years as a Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years in warehouse management or distribution ERP implementations.
o 3 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system focusing on warehouse and distribution and have experience in implementing and configuring Business Central for supply chain or logistics environments.
o Experience with thirdparty integrations such as warehouse management systems (WMS) transport management systems (TMS) or HHTs
Now for the juicy bit technical Skills:
You must know Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central especially warehouse and transportation functionalities. Also do you have experience of integrating Transport routing systems such as Paragon with MS BC.
Experience with EDI integrations and thirdparty logistics (3PL) systems is a plus.
Nice to have but not essential would be experience of integration with cutting tables or something similar Experience of basic production and automation within the WMS environment
Soft Skills:
Only apply if you have good knowledge of MS Business Central Warehousing and Distribution you wont enjoy the role if you dont have this.
We do need someone who knows the ropes so please only apply if you have 5 years of project management experience in finance and ERP implementations as well as 3 years of handson experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central focusing on the finance module. You will have a lot to communicate so fluent English speakers only for this role please.
