Job Description
Role: Inventory Controller
Job Location: Nairobi
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the ideal stock holding of engineering spares and utilities is maintained to support operations across the business.
Responsibilities
1. Receiving Spares & Lubricants
2. Stock Management and Control
3. Issuing of Spares and Lubricants
4. Stock Take monthly/annual
5. Housekeeping & Maintaining Spares Quality
6. Generating Reports Nil stock report Open POs report Pending PRs reports. Critical supplies tracker report. Stock take variance report.
7. Ensuring that requirements of the Implemented Management Systems (FSMS QMS EMS and OHSAS) are continually being met within the department.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management or Supply Chain Management Experience & Competences required:
- 5 years relevant experience in Inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP is a must.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to put in extra time as per work demand.
